Mercer County has a special need for foster homes for teenage mothers. These young women are working very hard to build a strong foundation for their children, but they need homes to live in to make this happen. Retired persons, childless couples, people with kids in or out of the house or others could match very well with these young mothers. Training and financial support for the foster families are provided. Please contact Sarah Watermulder (a student of social work and theology at Princeton Seminary) at sarah.watermulder(at)ptsem.edu. She is an intern for the Children’s Home Society of New Jersey.
